Welcome to Field Engineering we are based in Poole in Dorset and since 1968 we have developed a range of services and support for our customers to ensure products are completed to the desired specification and on time.

We offer sub-contract CNC and Manual Milling and Turning, sheet metal, and fabrication service. We are capable of manufacturing in Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Aluminium and Plastic to virtually any design.

We have been ISO9000 accredited for over 15 years. Our skilled welders are coded to BS EN287 capable of welding in mild steel and stainless steel.

Field Engineering have taken on a new Engineering Apprentice. Our new Apprentice Steve Ireson has been selected to udertake a two year training scheme with Paragon ITE which will qualify him to and NVQ level 3. We firmly believe in the need to train young apprentices in order to keep the skills in the engineering sector for the future.

Field Engineering has just purchased another Doosan/Daewoo Turning Centre. The Puma 240M is a 3 axis turning centre with live tooling. To compliment this machine we have also purchased another 1.5 metre Hydrafeed bar feed unit.

Field Engineering has just purchsed another Hurco Vertiical Machining Centre. The new VMX30m is a 3 axis machine capapble of 760 x 510 x 610mm travel. This complements Field Engineering's existing VMC range well, enabling Field Engineering to offer even more capacity and a faster turnaround on a wide variety of milling services. The Hurco control has proven to be a fast and efficient programming systems giving us the ability to machine one off or batch quantites with minimal set up time.
